Role Overview:
As an Animator at Driven Arts, you will play a crucial role in developing high-quality animations for characters, environments, and in-game assets. You will collaborate closely with our art and design teams to create animations that enhance gameplay and storytelling within Unreal Engine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create realistic and stylized animations for characters, creatures, and environmental assets.
- Implement and optimize animations within Unreal Engine 4/5, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
- Collaborate with the design team to develop animation concepts that align with gameplay mechanics and narrative.
- Utilize UE4’s animation tools, including Sequencer and Blueprints, to create dynamic, interactive animations.
- Participate in the rigging and skinning process, working closely with modelers to ensure assets are ready for animation.
- Contribute to the creative process by providing input on game design and character development.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in animation technology, particularly within Unreal Engine.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in animation, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in Unreal Engine 4/5.
- Proficiency in UE’s animation blueprints
- Experience with character rigging and skinning.
- Strong understanding of animation principles and techniques, with the ability to create both realistic and stylized animations.
- Familiarity with motion capture integration and cleanup.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
